Ybor City will soon add a new condominium building to its collection of vibrant lofts and historically-preserved and renovated bungalows.
Michael Mincbeg, a native of Washington D.C. desires to add some urban appeal to the area, reflective of what he’s familiar with back home. Mincberg says, “I love Tampa — I’ve lived here now for 14 years, but sometimes I miss the urban environment. More specifically, I miss being able to walk to things and just the cultural diversity you get from an urban core that’s really walkable, that becomes like a live-work-play space.” As president and developer of Sight Real Estate, Mincberg, wants to convert a warehouse at 1728 E. Second Ave. in Ybor City.
The condominium will feature 22 units and prices should begin in the mid $100,000’s to the mid $200,000’s. The cost of the project is anticipated to be about $4 million. If everything works according to plans, the project will commence by the end of the year. Read more at TBBJ.
